Certifications
The Abitur is the highest school certificate that can be obtained in the Federal Republic of Germany. The Colegio Humboldt is an officially recognized school by the KMK: The Permanent Conference of the Ministers of Culture and Public Education of the States of Germany and since 1999 is authorized to offer this exam, the Abitur.

The Sprachdiplom is a certificate in German language and is the most important diploma offered by the German Government.

Our internal study plan complies with the BUAP’s official study plan’s requirements, but is expanded in all fields of knowledge, in matter of content and approach, of the German official study plan. Because of this, our High School is the only bicultural and trilingual educative option.

The First Certificate in English - Cambridge exam evaluates four tasks: the listening, writing, reading and speaking sections. Students prepare for this test during their English classes in High School, and normally achieve results above the average.

Academic Exchanges with Germany
The main purpose of the exchange is, obviously, to improve the knowledge of the language. However, it is as well important that the students shape their own idea of the guest country,  this is accomplished through personal experience; living with another family, getting to know the idiosyncrasy and the way of thinking, the food and the different  school system, as well as other customs and much more.

Projects
Various projects have been developed for the different departments of the Colegio Humboldt. The elementary school offers the “Encouragement of Abilities” (GADH) group for our youngest ones. Students of 5th and 6th grade of elementary school can participate in the “Enciclomedia” project.

Middle school students may join the technical projects, as for example:  Gastronomy, Graphic Design, Mechanics, Prep´Arte (Graphic Arts), Mechatronics and Movie Production.  These projects have a duration of three school years.

The MUNCH Project (Model of the United Nations of the Colegio Humboldt) as well as the Students´ Forum are projects for high school students. By participating in these projects, communicative and professional skills are encouraged.

Advanced learning in workshops
At the Colegio Humboldt, we consider it as very important to enrich the regular school schedule with extracurricular activities, to encourage a comprehensive training of our students within our facilities. This can be obtained by a diversified program of workshops. We offer workshops in arts, ballet and dance, music (choir, piano, guitar and other instruments), as well as sports (soccer, handball, basketball and athletics), chess, theater, languages and many more.
