I. Content and methodology

The Kindergarten is divided into groups according to age:

• Three levels of Kindergarten

• A special group, called Vorschule, for children who, upon completion of the 3rd level, have not yet reached the sufficient maturity for their admission to elementary school.
  

All the levels are divided into two groups:

• One group consisting of German and Mexican kids, with domain of the German language – all activities are in German.

• Another group of non-German speaking children, that will learn German as a second language.

For all groups there is:

• 1 lesson per week: sports

• 2 lessons per week: music

• 1 hour per week: riding bicycles, tricycles and carts

• Taking care and feeding of the rabbits and/or planting of vegetables

• Ecological (recycling) and social awareness (supporting a social institution)

• 100% compliance with the established programs of the Mexican Public Education Agency (SEP)

• Significant didactical learning

Uniform is required for sports and ceremonies only.

2nd grade of KINDERGARTEN

• German classes of 30 minutes per day

• Methodology based on songs, games and communication

3rd grade of KINDERGARTEN

• German classes of 30 minutes per day using the German language in daily occurrences.

VORSCHULE

• Stimulation according to the needs of each child

• Daily German classes with usage of the German language in everyday situations

II. Facilities and security

• Fully equipped, big classrooms, divided in home areas, construction, “calm lounge” and arts

• Atractive and varied didactical material

• Audiovisual equipment, e.g. recorder and DVD

• A garden for each classroom, with sandbox and vegetable patch

• Each classroom has two bathrooms

• All classrooms are interconnected

• Large, spacey gardens

• Playground

• Cycle path (bicycles, tricycles, upas and carts)

• Multiple-use rooms

• Kitchen

• Library

• Creativity room

• Music room

• Sports room

• Central sandbox

• Rabbit cage

• Small groups, with a max. of 25 children

• Constant oversight

• Special pass for the parents to pick up the children

IIII. Extracurricular activities

• Workshops for 3rd level and Vorschule : Taekwondo, soccer, carpentry, creativity, presentation, development of logical-mathematical reasoning, movement and expression

• Conferences for parents about educative and pedagogical subjects.

• Psycho-pedagogical support for parental orientation, as well as detection and suggestions for specific problems

• German language classes for parents

2nd year: four years of age
3rd year: five years of age

• 1st year: three years of age
• 2nd year: four years of age
• 3rd year: five years of age
• Interview with the parents and getting to know the child
• Handing in the complete documentation
